    Hey Froggy,

Great article sir, and your father was a hell of a guy.

It is a crime, how our government discarded MIAs/KIAs after Korea and Vietnam in the name of political expediency. The American people deserve a full accounting of our missing Sons, Bothers, Husbands, and Fathers.

May you get your wish my friend,

    Duty First!

What a great article. Your father is one of many who left a legacy. You know my father served in the Korean War as well. After dinner we both talked about how our fathers shaped us. You and I must have a kindred spirit.

I believe that if we must get something right in our lives, it must be that we be right with God and then be right with our children. You father left an impression on you that no human being can top and you yourself grew to be an honorable man who followed in his foot steps. I don’t know that if in Heaven we will have any concern about who and what we left behind. Being in God’s presence must consume the spirit completely. However, if we are given the opportunity to look down upon earth in order to understand the purpose and meaning of our lives, I am certain that if your father had the chance to glance upon his son, it would have been then that his life made complete and precious sense.

God bless you and God bless all who served, including the families. Remember J C Williams, CPO, 36 years Navy, Pearl Harbor Survivor, now with his Maker, a man who had a heart for his country and for his little girl, Texas Tea.

Every citizen of this country owes their freedom and rights to those who have served in our military, and those who have served to live another day do so in constant memory of those great American heros we have lost.

I wish you to know, this written tribute to your father has deposited an eternal measure of Gods love into my needy heart. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

    Jim,

Your father must have been an outstanding man to have raised you the way he did from heaven. Brave in the field strong in God’s hands.

    Blessings,

Some day your Father will come home Jim. One thing OUR Govt should have been working on is to FORCE the return of all KIA Remains from all wars and from all AO’s.And the discovery of all MIA’s.

The selfless acts and never to be forgotten sacrifices of our fallen heros is the life blood of America. May God damn those who wullfully elect to dismiss them.

  8. Conservative Democrat says:

I sincerely hope you see the day your father comes home. He gave his life so that others may enjoy the freedoms and liberties offered by the greatest of all countries. I’m sure he would have been proud of you for your similar actions on battlefields not too far away.

God bless you, Jim Trimble. God bless you, your family, your friends, all members of our armed forces and all veterans. I wish you well.

I appreciate all of the men and women that have served or are serving now. America is a beautiful country and is worth protecting. It’s a shame that some had to pay the ultimate price, for us. Remember them daily, they deserve it.

I have been privileged with meeting many famous and important military heroes. I have been even more privileged to carry the memory of those heroes whom I shall never have the opportunity to meet. There are those who mine the ore that created the steel, and I thank you. There are those who created the steel from that ore, and I thank you as well. There are those who forged that steel into the swords of freedom, I thank you also. Then are those who carry that steel into battle, that steel which represents the very best of America, carried by the very best of America. It is for those who carry the steel into battle that I pray on this Memorial Day. Go easy bro’s.

  12. Pat Potts says:

I as well honor your father Frog and many others that have died serving their country. Yes and I have cried today also. I thank all that have served our country and to all those that continue to serve so that we are kept safe. Thank you, thank you so much for all that you do.
Frog what a beautiful tribute to your father. Thanks for sharing.

I am sorry that you never knew your Dad, and I hope someday you can bring his remains home.
I also have mourned today the loss of a Soldier. He was my Brother-In-Law. The war did not kill him though, He was a Marine in Veitnam, It was the local Government that killed him, after the war. He would have led the March to DC on 9/12, if He were alive today. I think of him often and especially today.

    Solemnly, Bev

This is a day for all American families to be thankful for our freedom and We all Salute
soliders as your dad gave his life for our Freedom. I too salute your dad and pray they
can find his remains so we can bring him back to his homeland and he can finally rest in peace. I feel your prayers will be answered in the near future. My heart is with you today as everyday.

  15. The Frog Prince says:

There are always reasons in life that shape us and the way we think. This is one of the reasons that shaped me from the time I was born until this very day. I salute you Daddy!

And yes, I cried this morning as I have many times.
