On public websites I never post my full name. I’ll offer the first, but never the last. So, this search did bring up my posts, but when I entered my full name, it came up with nothing. If I entered the first, it shows my posts along with other users with my first name.
Also, I created a special email account specifically for the site, with my username and only initials in the account info. Maybe I’m paranoid, but my privacy is important to me and the world wide web doesn’t care about privacy.
AS an ADMIN here I can say that Bilbob and I HAVE tried to create a website that is secure. NEWSVINE is far from that and the ease of getting info is unreal–in other words VERY easy!
Because even as omnipotent as Calvin and his evil belly button are…they dont have global admin rights for the entire web. Dont let that take away from your hero worship, however, as I am sure this blog is being monitored by your assigned poli-psychiatrist.

Good morning Girls, Boys and Frog, After reading this and finding my comments listed- I decided to see from a special ops position what was happening at Newsvine. It is the first time I’ve visited since the boys cut me off. Most likely my last visit! Kinda like an ex; they don’t know what they had till you are gone. I see Tyler caught USMC! Didn’t catch me. LOL All my past comments on articles were deleted as were Partys. So can someone tell me why they are not deleted from the goggle search engine? Frog Princess I’m going to try the Twitter and My Space too.

I find ME to be quite the refreshing place. Here, nobody thinks I’m crazy for wanting to annex Mexico. Here, I can be whoever I want to be and people realize it is merely facets of a gem. Here, Frog is the sheriff and we get to be the unruly teenage drivers on his “streets”. Here, the gagmin really do respond in a timely fashion reminiscent of the old face2face handshake days. Here, the wives know where to find us…..and we’re not causing any trouble (which results in the desired sleeping inside the house condition). Here, one can suggest a new motto for the site and nobody will laugh.
By the way, my suggestion is “MetroEdit…because I’ve got to be ME!”
There…..that oughta make the man’s ass glow a couple lumens brighter than a chemical camp light.

Thanks for the info admin. It relieves a little of the anxiety. I never made a post I didn’t believe in and if anyone wants to debate my comments bring it on.
Let me elaborate on a couple of things here. ANY web site that is indexed by google allows all of its content to be scanned. Just about everything you do online is recorded. Including the stuff we post here. This site “tweets” twitter and other social sites with its content. It is just the content though. No personal information is transferred to google or twitter from here. This site does not collect personal information other than your username and email you joined with. I don’t run google ads on here because social traffic is useless as far as making money online. I mean think about it, how many of you ever clicked an ad on newsvine? Social traffic does however expand what we post here to another audience. I think it is a good thing as maybe someone surfing twitter will see what is going on here and maybe decide they want to participate. I just thought I would clear that up as far a the way this site is using the content we post here.
The concerns I have with the social sites – Twitter and Facebook – are that evidently I am on them both. That’s what Google indicates. I have never joined either site. I know Tyler is some sort of idol on Twitter to his ass kissing pals. I have never given anyone permission to place any information on me on any one of those forums. I think I’d like to know now from the people here how many of you see that on your Google search and aren’t a member of either forum?
I refuse to have anything Google on my system.

Last night I found my comments from 6 months as a member of NV posted all over Google. I forgot that everything I type on even a quasi-public forum goes into the Google monster’s belly, to be made freely available to all.
Call me a bit paranoid, if you wish, but I saw enough info about me to enable some crazed leftist extremist to figure out exactly where I live.
When I got an email from PO today to come over here, I decided it was best to use something other than my real name, unlike on NV. It’s nice being here, surrounded by people I like.

Every one NEEDS to be aware that NEWSVINE has submited OUR INFO to google. GO to Google and do a search for your screen name followed by newsvine–AND then search foryour REAL NAME. There are two seperate searches for you to do.
YOU will be amazed!!!
You have to type in your NV screen name then Newsvine right after that to get the links to come up.
