I read a while back on Calvin’s account Groups V2 that they were going to take all the groups that did not have active Admins and let whoever wanted to Administer them take over.

Can you delete your account once you have been banned? What can I do about that? Tyler said some people e-mailed him asking to come back. I read that on his infamous thread. However he can kiss my butt. I refuse to give him the satisfaction of feeling God like to ask if I could return. To be honest it was becoming a pain being there. I got pissed off at least five times an hour just trying to comment. Now my blood pressure is wonderful.
You can’t delete it because they don’t let you log in with that screen name. Basically, what it boils down to is that they are banning a screen name. How in the hell you gonna ban a person from a public forum?

Ok I’ll follow up with a few words to add to TP. IN the beginning Frog Prince and I were getting killed by these a$$holes ganging up on us. I had so many comments collapsed, NV was like trying to a word in edgewise with Viki Babbles. So I just have to wonder how they knew to come and start marking my comments (!) basically because they disagreed with me. If NV was fair everytime (!) collapse happens a call should me made as to whether the comment is really offensive or if it is just disagreed with. The straw came when I posted a story about the joke US called immigration law. Zom Zom and his gang, Jones Girl, Kim and some others had my story removed. Nothing done again.
When TP and I hooked up it got better. Then more people joined on and we had the ability to get our stories some exposure. Now I’ll admit and I did so, publicly on the Vinecast that I broke the rule by asking for help collapsing Rachel. I posted Rachel’s remarks on my blogspot. I reported her comments 8 times, Tyler ignored it. Her comments had 18 incidents of name calling and a whole lot more if you look at disrespect. She even attempted to threaten me with her American Kick A$$ Gun Owner comment. Which I emailed to Tyler, again no response. Now there’s something strange about Rachel Barajas Newsvine account.
That happened on May 1st. Her column showed the account was created 5/2009 that meant that account was set up that day. I don’t know if you all remember you first month at NV but you are not allowed to add a bio or a picture until after you come out of the green room. For me that took about 2 weeks of comments. So I am sure that someone gave Rachel Barajas a free ride to come after me. As I said on Vinecast that’s one offense that I asked for a collapse and I was banned. Anyone else would have gotten a 5 day suspension. Amazingly Rachel has never made one other single comment.
So once again Viki, Brad et. el., Tyler and Calvin set me up with inflammatory comments because I have conservative ideals. Nothing more, nothing less.
Those people who joined our groups and sold us out to NV to further themselves and make brownie points they have to live with their morals, or lack thereof. For myself I sleep just fine.
I deleted my Newsvine account. I let Tyler know why.

I find it rather ironic these guys were organized enough to try and game the system, but didn’t realize their emails were being forwarded to the ADMIN of the site!
I find it absolutely hilarious. Especially since there were some emails that I saw that said things like “I think we have a traitor in our midst.” And then they kept doing it.

The babbling idiot (Viki) doesn’t seem to understand that I didn’t give a rip if they sent anything to Tyler. There wasn’t anything I ever sent, or said, to anyone in the group that was against their CoH, User Agreement or the established rules which they themselves set up. However, being the old Army retired guy that I am, I do value loyalty. Both OAJ and PWFL were established to write and seed articles on Newsvine to offer an alternative to the crap that MSNBC was serving up. They didn’t like that. But that should be what a news service serves up – balanced news.
I was a bit bent out of shape that one day when I went off about “member presence.” Here our authors were getting gang raped on those posted articles and having to deal with all that BS by themselves and no one was around to help. Evidently, we weren’t supposed to support each other which is total nonsense. That’s one of the reasons groups are formed. DUH! It’s called mutual support and that is what “any” group is usually about whether there or in real life. There little domain isn’t exactly real life.

I dont know about that. I find that most liberals are great at communicating their lunacy. Viki is a living walking breathing contradiction in terms. A masters degree in teaching is not the same as being a master at teaching. Likewise for writing. In an odd sadistic sort of way, it would be interesting to see the world completely regress…wouldnt you like to see Viki skin a possum and put it in the pot?

I couldn’t figure that either Semperfi, I thought you were being super careful. Either they tapped into your email (?) or Tyler was just fishing. Are you wired or wireless? If wired maybe your IP Address is not static? But they would have some diggin through log files to find it.
I had my IP blocker up and running at the time! I think they just fished a little figuring it was me by my writing style (if you can call it that!). Who other than a PWFL member would have been asking the same questions too? I saw they picked you off too when you logged in as PO.
It’s nice to be out of there. We made a huge impact, and now the place is dull as hell! Viki Babbles and her little band will certainly take our place! Christ!
Also looking into the comment boxex and articles like NV has—may just copy a CSS!! That way an article here or post here can be followed like a conversation.

Also I did not get to delete my account before they took it over and have been checking my friends list. There are several that I don’t have a clue who they are. Looks like someone is adding them.
OAJ had 224 members when they locked me out and now there are 228. Among the members Scott Isaacs. He was not there before.
Jim and I both sent emails to Newsvine yesterday about them using the custom logos. They need to remove them. As well the About information on OAJ was written by me. I have not given them permission to use either and to change the group names.
I will say I was able to set up a user name and make a post to Tylers page on Frogs, Partys and blablabla… It gave me away at the end after they had read the whole thing and just listed Rachel Barajas’s attacks on me which I have posted on my blogspot page. I think if they had the ability to block an IP Address I would not have been able to set up that user.
I’m sure they can track it unless you use a tool like Thinstall but that takes a lot of leg work looking at log files and I’m sure like my systems at work the log files are huge.
Has anyone happened to look at the politics page lately the number one spot has a whopping 236 comments. Banging it up out there. NV thought it had budget troubles before? Wait.
IP addresses aren’t individualized and that would be a problem for them. According to more than one computer expert I have consulted, your ISP issues the IS you you to numerous users, sometimes thousands and thousands of users depending upon its size. A block of ISs can get kinda pricey if you think about it. If they block an IP, how many potential users are they going to effect?
How in the hell do you suppose Tyler knew it was me?

If any opened the link in #24–and had the music play SCAN your computer and make sure that you did not have anything dropped into your computer. Tracker cookie(DATA MINER) and a key logger is what tried to hit me. I was on the phone with the FROG whan it happened.
I believe heckofawoman was involved in this for sure. I was on her friends list , but after the PWFL thread Tyler posted I was dropped boo hoo.. Just curious, he said on the Frogs,Partys and Badges post the other day that he was a part of the group but he just put those emails in his spam folder and ignored them, but in reality just when we started planning the DC trip he replied to me twice. So he IS lying to them. Moreso I thought it was strange that he and I always supported each others stories then about two weeks ago that stopped. Yup looks like he was playing double agent.
Viki blabber mouth would not stop talking with that shreiky voice and as soon as I was unmuted and started to talk she wanted to interupt me. I deleted my account after they started denying our members the ability to police their own articles and seeds. That was about 2 days before the big bang! I signed in that day as Westsounder, and started asking 50 questions, and confronted Scott Issacs’ comment about “hacking”. Out of the blue, Tyler intervened and offered to restore my USMC account I deleted. I about crapped! I was using my IP blocker they new it was me (USMC). He has never responded to a single one of my emails to him complaining about restricting OOC and PO. Looking back on it, I wish I had said no thanks. I am no longer interested in wasteing my time on Newsvine.
In Tyler’s thread, they made reference to “several members” of PWFL forwarding group emails to him. Even one member doing so was digusting enough, but to think more than one were involved is pretty pathetic.
We had a lot of fun and rocked Newsvine’s liberal-assed world.
