If I was granted one wish I would wish that at the tender age of 18 I had had the balls to become a Marine. The Marine recruiter told me “It’s a two year program; one year of training and one year of combat. Half of you will die on the battlefield and the other half will return with some kind of injury.” I walked out the door and never went back.

There is absolutely nothing in this world that will equal my respect for Marines.

Hey Lt. you ever hear about the Jarine, the Squid and a Head?

Well: one day in the head, a Jarine and a Squid were taking a piss, the Marine finishes first and heads for the door. The Squid pipes up “Hey Marine in the Navy they teach us to wash or hands after pissing.” The Marine hardly slowed down as he replied “Yeah well in the Corps they teach us NOT to piss on our hands!”
