Obama wants someone with empathy? Empathy is not in the Constitution.

So, I suppose the fifth amendment is just chopped liver and onions? The right against self incrimination seems fairly empathetic to me. O-man and his cohorts strip that away when they make their pronouncements of a new social order by hook or by crook. Further disregard for the constitution now arrives in the form of an apolitical choice for the supreme court.

While let’s see I am a woman, Hispanic (Surprise!) Racist no Bigot yes, can’t stand lazy people. I love men. I would not support her appointment because I can not understand what her life experiences have to do with up holding the laws of the Constitution. IF the laws need changing we need to pass amendments not legislate from the bench.

OK I will now go get my gun and bible and sit in the back of the room.

I’d like to know what this love affair with street urchins is about. I hate to be the one to say it, but, so what if she grew up one way and turned out another. I am NOT impressed. The school of hard knocks is a respected institution in this country, but it is not a qualifier for higher office. Can somebody get hired as CEO of a large well established company because they got their ass kicked for the first 10 years of their life after starting school? As to her lamebrained comment about who would make a better decision…pay particular attention to her wording….she “hopes” hispanic female lawyers make better decisions than your average white ambulance chaser. I say, take care woman! The only decision worth considering for me will be the one you issue based on what the Constitution of The United States of America’s opinion is. You see, we the people dont want “your” opinion when we request your opinion. We already have an opinion and are at cross odds with another citizens’ opinion and we need the court’s opinion to square sides with the rule book. Nowhere in there did I see anybody ask for a jurist’s personal opinion. Now, quit moving the goal posts and line up on the ball or quit the game!

So! Where do you folks stand on our newest nominee to the SCOTUS? What more can one ask for – a woman, a Hispanic, and someone who appears to be a racist?

Not to mention that she doesn’t appear to like men – especially white men who she sees as inferior to her intellect.

I stand in disgust but not shocked by Obamas choice. Like others have said, what has she really done to prove herself or prove that she deserves that position? Not a damn thing aside from being a hispanic female.
