like many I only say bits and peices of the speech via the news channels, I couldn’t stomach watching the whole speech. It was as I figured it would be another lets slam america speech….the man is a poor excuse for an american much less president…the conservative news media was astounded that obama gave Iran the go ahead to become a nuclear power and as one put it “Iran gets nuclear and the usa gets wind mills and solar panels..”……………I expect obama will be taken down a couple of pegs soon but I just hope america and us people don’t have to suffer too much for it but I think we will pay a very heavy price for obama’s ignorance unfortunately..

Hi everyone! I just got back on here for the second time since invited. I was having trouble then lost my password. Anyway, I wanted to say “Hello to everyone and I truly miss being involved on the forums.” Hopefully I can find some more time in the weeks ahead!

I can’t even bring myself to watch the damn speech. I’ve heard enough from the Media that I’m absolutely speechless and beyond sick of this lame brained idiot!!!!! I’m glad I can just read everyone’s comments here and know that I am among friends and allies. So glad to be here! It is beyond time for his impeachment!!! (We need to do major house cleaning within the Fed. Gov’t and QUICK!!)

We’ll formulate our strategy the the Tax Protest on September 12th. In between shots and beers, barbecue, laughter and good times. Anyone interested? We’re arriving on the 10th and leaving on the 14th. They may hear us when we show up. Hmmmmm…..

Get this- last week while on the Michigan.gov web site, information was printed in English, Spanish and Arabic. Guess we better start brushing up on Arabic and start shopping for veils too….
I may want an island but maybe I should settle for building a bunker!

It’s turning into a freakin nightmare. I’m so disgusted with him my stomach turns when I see or hear him. He struts around like freakin King Tut trying to make friends with countries that hate America. He doesn’t deserve to be called American.

Why doesn’t the Presidential Candidacy require military service? I mean doesn’t it make sense that the POTUS should understand the military and have a better sense of what terrorist do?

I guess not only American English you will need to know Spanish, and understand the Coran to live in this country.

I’m sorry, but I cant ever go along with “requiring” military service as a condition for the presidency. I am not biased either, I come from a military family that stretches back many generations and the military is to protect our country, not rule it.

      • SadieTParty says:

Please elaborate? I think historically Presidents who have served in the Military are better leaders. The military provides something missing in most other organizations mentoring from leaders. The military seems to fulfill that and based on my son’s service in the Navy I think it allows service people to appreciate the importance of good or even great leaders.

        So why is that bad?

        • The Frog Prince says:

You didn’t ask me to elaborate but I will anyway. Having spent most of my adult life in the Army, I can attest to the traits that military service instills in any young person. A sense of duty to your country is foremost. It is extremely difficult for someone who hasn’t been there to understand what it is that makes the our military what it is. Recent history, in the form of Clinton and now Obama, is one of the prime reasons I see for wanting a Commander-In-Chief to have military experience in one form or another.

Clinton decimated the military thinking the “world is now going to be a safe place” after Desert Storm. I heard him say it myself. Now we have another military genius at the helm who has no idea what it takes to be a leader. He thinks he does. He equates leadership with “talk.” It isn’t. It is done by example. It is done with courage, morals, a work ethic and all the other principles involved in selfless service to your country.

Personally, I think any able bodied American, whether male of female, should have to serve this nation in the military for a minimum of two years. I’ve seen people dramatically changed for the better by having served. Is it a hard life? Sure it is, if you then choose to make it your life. Anything worth having usually has a degree of difficulty attached to it. It makes “not taking your country for granted” have new meaning. You lead by example and we now have a poor one to try to follow. I’d rather not myself.

You know guys. . . .I tried to think of something intellectual to say about this event, but all I could do was shake my head and type. . . .

    FAIL!

    Fodder for Bin Laden.

  7. sherrywantsanisland says:

The guy is certifiable- Why congress or We the People are not kicking and screaming demanding this man be removed for treason is beyond me. He is unworthy to be head of a civilized nation. The man is placing every American in harms way, with complete disrespect for those who gave all, so this Country would be safe! Why are American citizens tolerating this injustice?

It’s interesting to see how naive this guy is—and how hypocritical.

All his crap about Islam aside, he’s OK with Iran having nuclear energy—but doesn’t want it here.
