So is this thing able to explain where the numbers actually are derived from, the formulas involved? is it a Government site?
There are several variations of the US Debt Clock and reporting of numbers if you Google it. Not sure if this is a government site but very seriously doubt it. Someone though put considerable work into the clock and how it works.

I am absolutely disgusted with our government at every level, and they are so bloody proud of their “accomplishments”?
But they are “fighting for us”, right?

Sure they’re fightin’ for us….that’s why they’re winning. It’s the same twinge you get when you ask somebody to watch your kid for “just a few minutes”…as you turn around you wonder what catastrophe was just set in motion!
I just checked this sucker again and it has gotten worse. One helluva a clock where the passage of time doesn’t heal.
oh, oh I think the administration got it, It timed out on my attempt to access it.
I agree heads need to roll vote NO to any and all incumbents send a message.
Is there any way to speed this clock up to a higher gear so we make a change like he spends money—:)

That’s what scares me too FP. How much MORE damage can be done with the time he has left? He’s been in office for what, 200 days and look at the mess already!
I keep going back to this site to check things out. Guess what? The numbers keep getting worse, not better. Just have “hope,” things will “change.” Of course, he didn’t indicate what type of change we should expect by putting a totally inexperienced person in office to be this nation’s chief executive.
A Democrat will say “you havent watched long enough”. A Republican will say “you aint seen nothin’ yet”. A Libertarian will say “wow, would you look at that”. All I can say is “I think we have found a place where some government waste can be trimmed, let’s fire all the people who have too much time on their hands”!
